Unfortunately, some retailers will sell you anything just to make the sale. We recommend using common sense if you feel you are being pressured to purchase, but here are a few pointers on how to select the right wig:
- Color. Check the color of the wig with your skin tone. This can be done by looking at your profile (side) with the wig on. Pay attention to what the wig color does to the color of your skin. If you see a nice healthy glow, or a pleasant reflection, you know that color works for you. If the wig color gives your skin tone a yellowish, greenish or reddish look, then that shade is not for you. A sallow or ashy tone to your skin is to be avoided. Eliminate all colors that are not complementary to you.
- Length. If the wig is too long, it can make your face look like a long rectangle. If the wig is too short, it can make your face appear to be heavy, broad or “all face”.
The cut and color are critical in achieving your best look. If it is your first time purchasing a wig, we highly recommend visiting a quality wig shop. It will be worth the extra effort. Remember, the most expensive wig is not always the best look.
Once you are familiar with what wig looks best on you, then you are ready to purchase your wigs through our e-commerce site.
