A honey blonde that photographs warm in daylight and turns orange indoors was lifted too hot. The strand was pushed past the tone and then coated so it would look even in the bag.
We colour after the hair is already virgin: single donor, cuticle one way, no silicone bath before the dye. Small lots, so one bundle does not come out a shade away from the next. The stop point is a warm salon blonde. Indoor yellow light makes it a little deeper, which is what honey should do. It should not go brass.
How to keep the tone
Wash less often than you think. A sulfate shampoo every week will walk a blonde toward yellow faster than the sun will. Cool water, a purple-leaning mask only if the tone has actually shifted, and never a hot tool on a soaking wet blonde.
- Judge the colour in daylight, next to the swatch, not under a bathroom bulb.
- Coloured hair is still virgin underneath the dye. Heat still has a memory.
- If two pieces from one order do not match in daylight, that is on us.
Shop straight wigs when you want this colour in daylight.

Wash day for a body wave
A body wave does not need a weekly intervention. It needs cool water, a sulfate-free shampoo, and the patience to detangle before the hair is fully wet.

How to read a lace cap
HD is thinner. Transparent is a little more forgiving on deeper skin if you tint it. Neither one will save a hairline that was plucked down to the mesh.
